As the exploit became more widespread

Blizzard has just released patch 1.0.8 for Diablo III. As per the details revealed by developer, Diablo III patch 1.0.8 adds GW2aGoldanew features as well as enhance co-op play.

Diablo 3 Patch 1.0.8Blizzard explained last month: "The point is that multiplayer can be lot of fun, but given the downsides it can often feel not worth the effort. By making it easier for players to find one another, improving social features, and providing direct buffs to co-op groups, we hope to change that perspective."Yesterday, Blizzard released patch 1.0.8 for Diablo 3. The update increased the maximum stack size of player-sold gold from 1 million to 10 million. Unfortunately, it also introduced a bug that allowed them to duplicate the stack that was placed on the Real-Money Auction House simply by cancelling the listing.

As the exploit became more widespread, Blizzard pulled down the Auction House in order to implement a fix for the problem. As of right now, the fix has not been put up.While some players have called for the developer to roll back the servers to a previous version where the bug does not, Blizzard has instead chosen D3aGoldato focus on the individual accounts that took advantage of the exploit.
